Inspired by the golden oldies and spiced by the tunes that we grew up with, "Blue Jean Baby" and "Sunny Day" are very reminiscent of a couple of modern-day guitar players time traveling from the present and into the sixties.  Both songs are tracks from Independent Recording Artist Mike Parrish's "Texas in the Man" album recently released by Hangin' Boot Records in association with Willow Street Entertainment Group.

These tunes have had great reviews and they've seen the European Country Music Association National Top 40 Charts a few times also.

Now .... that's down & dirty!  I'm ready to put on my dancing shoes. I like the live feel of the production. I can see the blue jean baby slauntering across the parking lot to her red mustang with all the young boy's tongues hanging out. Great guitar & slide dual at the end. Fun song! Sounds Great!

Modern Rockabilly
Loving the blues, the rock, and the rockabilly influences on this song, very much an early rock'n'roll 50s Jerry Lee Lewis style song with a little more of a modern twist. Definately a song you'd hear in a bar for a two step or boogie. Maybe even the intro song on a feel good rural movie. The only thing that lets you know this song isn't from the 50s is the Pat Green and Kid Rock references.
